Swamp

Here is my little offering for this weeks Illustration Friday word Swamp. I thought these two little creatures might be found hanging out quite happily in a nice wet swamp. I call this piece 'Wanna grab a bite?'. I love using cheeky animals in my work and I have used these two on some greeting cards too. A digital illustration I created for this months issue of Sydney's Child. I thought It worked with this weeks Illustration Friday word 'Intention'. I wonder what this little girl intends to use her hard earned money for!

suspense

This paper cut illustration was created as part of an application I put together to illustrate the cover of the lovely zine Bespoke. Unfortunately it was not chosen, but that won't stop me showing it off for this weeks illustration friday word 'suspense'. I always imagined this lady had snuck off in the night to meet her secret lover in the dark...

Twirl

Another recent acrylic on board piece I though would work for this weeks Illustration Friday word 'Twirl'. I used dry brush, scratch back and some masking techniques to paint this unlucky scene, perhaps being the early bird is not always such a good thing after all!

Prepare

Just finished this one on the weekend! this little frog better prepare for the unfortunate consequences of his dinner choice......
